Obituary for Jackie Eugene Vance

Jackie Eugene Vance, 57 years of age of Paynesville, WV, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 in Clinch Valley Medical Center. Born February 22, 1960 in Iaeger, WV, he was the son of the late Benjamin Harrison Vance and Nancy Ellen Hawks Vance.

Jackie was a retired construction worker and mechanic who took pride in his work. He loved spending time outdoors and with his family camping and playing music. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, cousin and uncle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Jerry and Johnny Vance and granddaughter Laken Vance.

Survivors include his daughter Tiffany Hagerman and husband Anthony of Ligonier, IN; sons Ben Vance and wife Pam and Jeremy Malcolm Vance and wife Amber all of Paynesville, WV; brother Jessie Vance and wife Vonda of Platka, FL.

He is also survived by his grandchildren Brittney, Brady, Nick, Andrew, Cole, John, Tyler, Austin, Dalton, Ethan, Jacob and Brooke; great-grandchildren: Jace and Serenity; several nieces and nephews whom he cherished dearly.

Funeral service for Jackie Eugene Vance will be held at the Bee Branch Primitive Baptist Church in Paynesville, WV, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Vance Family Cemetery on Rock Ridge Road, Paynesville, WV.

Active pallbearers will be his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Bee Branch Primitive Baptist Church, Friday, January 12, 2018 after 6:00 p.m. with evening service to be held at 7:00 p.m.
