Obituary for Charles Dean Byerley

Charles Dean Byerley, 82 years of age of Bedford, OH, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at the University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland OH. Born November 20, 1934 he was born the son of the late William and Jessie Hutton Byerley.

He was an avid golfer and he enjoyed spending time tending his garden. Loving husband, father and brother.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Doyle Byerley.

Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of 52 years Esta Mae Sparks Byerley, two daughters, Sandra Berczik of Beaumont, CA and Christine Kerrigin of Desert Hot Springs, CA; one son, Rick Byerley of Akron, OH; and two half-sisters. Two grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive him.

Funeral services for Charles Dean Byerley will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel, Keen Mountain, VA with Pastor Roger Keen officiating. Burial will follow at Esau Rife Cemetery in Keen Mountain, VA.

Pallbearers will be family and friends

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 6:00 p.m.
